Passionate about nature, Mary trained as a zoologist at Edinburgh University then gained HND in graphic design and illustration at Reigate School of Art and Design. Mary's quirky ink drawings mostly depict birds and animals with character and attitude. She has now returned nearer to her roots, and lives in Kelso in the Scottish Borders.

While exploring her new surroundings, Mary will maintain her links with the ShedArt group in Surrey.
